good evening guys!! So I recently took down two of my most recent posts (I screenshotted every comment though, don't worry, I keep those always and forever) because I've started seriously looking into publishing. If I'm being honest, I have no idea where to start or what to do, but I think it's about time I learn how. Part of this is trying to find a wide and new audience for my writing. May 31st is the anniversary of my first submission on this site. I'm a fairly private person and thus I avoid healthy expressions of emotions at almost all cost; however, I am in love with poetry. Not only is it one of the only outlets I'm comfortable with, it is also strikingly beautiful when it's done right. The act of sharing it with innumerable strangers is not one I take lightly. So I'd like to celebrate! May 31st is also the day I receive my diploma. Although I technically graduated in December, I'm coming back to walk. Two causes for celebration on one day?
